AN ANGEL IN DISGUISE...

Read and you will be touched by this story.
Where man's ability ends, GOD'S suprimacy starts.
READ THIS:
Once upon a time, there was a poor widow who
was deserted, rejected and abandoned by the
entire villiage...
She was labeled a witch-accused of killing her
husband.
She had three children-a boy and two girls.
The boy(Abel) was the first child, about 12yrs of
age.
He did not go to school because his poor mum
couldn't afford it, however, Abel was very strong,
hardworking and did make little money to support
his mum by helping the villager in their farm.
Mary was about 9years old, she couldn't do much
than to assist her mum in domestic works in the
house.
The last child, Helen, she was 6, sick and has been
bed wriden since the death of her father 2years
back-she was so close to her father.
This family was so poor that it was hard for them
to feed not to talk of treating Helen who was on
her sick bed.
The poor widow, being the principal bread winner
of her family tried all she could to provide for the
basic needs of the family, she also took good care
of Helen in her own little way.
Ond day, the worst happened, she was bitten by a
poisonous snake as she was coming back from
farm.
She cried for help but no one came to her rescue.
The children couldn't help either.
She suffered in pains for days, on that fateful
evening, she called all her children together.
'my children, I'm sorry, I cannot continue with you'
she said. 'please always be united and take good
care of your sick sister, God will take care of you'
she concluded and passed on.
The children cried and cried, shouted to no avail.
Men, women and whole neighbourhood came out
en masse on hearing the sad news.
One's expectation was that they would be happy
for the death of their enermy but instead of
happiness, there was sadness.
Instead of joy, there was sorrow.
Instead of celebration, there was mourning-these
was not because of the death woman but the
children.
Days later, the death was buried.
'Now, what will be the fate of these children' they
reasoned among themselves.
'I will go with Abel, at least he can help me in my
farm work. That is the only way I can help' said a
big farmer.
'Let me take Mary with me, she will be my house
help and I will assist her with food' added another
woman.
What will be Helen's fate as no one wanted to take
her, everyone went their way, some just looked at
her while others didn't care to even look.
A certain shoe mender came by, 'please take Helen
with you, she can't afford to stay here alone' he
begged with a woman whom he saw there.
'I can't take her!' she retorted. 'no one will love to
go home with a sick girl who will be of no use to
the person'. she added as she walked away.
The shoe mender was moved with compassion as
tears rolled down his eyes.
Without saying a word, he quietly entered the
house, take Helen by the hand and cried
uncontrollably.
'please brother, do not leave me here' Helen
pleaded in tears.
'no my dear, I have come to take you with me'
replied the shoe mender.
He dressed her up and took her with him-this was
Helen's 'Angel in disguise'.
The shoe mender took good care of her, he
struggled, save some money and took her to a
specialist who diagnosed and treated her of her
ailment.
The child grow and later got admitted into the
higher school where she studied and became a
doctor.
She got married to a very rich man, came back to
their village and took her siblings with her.
To cut a long story, she was of immense help to
the people that rejected her.
The stone which the builders rejected later became
the cheif corner stone.
That is what God can do...
GOD WILL LIFT YOU UP, ABOVE YOUR ENERMIES.
YOU SHALL BECOME THE CHEIF CORNER STONE IN
JESUS NAME.
