THE POOR MILLIONAIRE

Another Inspiring Story That Will encourage You To Believe In GOD And Your Ability To Make A Difference.

PLEASE READ, ENJOY but most of all... LEARN!
"The grave yard is the richest place on earth, because it is there that you will find all the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled, books that were never written, songs that were never sung, inventions that were never shared, cures that were never discovered, etc. all because someone was too afraid to take the first step, keep with the problem, or determined to carry out their dreams" - LES BROWN

MYLES MUNROE, a renowned motivational speaker who lost his life in a plane crash had this to say in one of his books:
"The wealthiest place in the world is not the gold mines in South America or the oil fields in iran/iraq. They are not the diamond mines of South Africa or the banks in the world. The wealthiest place on planet is just down the road-It is the cemetery. There lies companies that were never started, inventions that were never made, bestselling books that were never written, and masterpieces that were never painted. In the cemetery is buried the greatest treasure of untapped potentials", end of quote.

In this world there are many potential rich people who would have made a big impact in their society, but many fail to achieve because of some unwarranted factors. Some of the reasons these set of people blame their inability to be successful includes but not limited to: education, mentorship, capital, workable ideas, to mention but a few.

Denis, an ambitious young man born into a very poor and down to earth family. His father, a visual/sight impaired person couldn't provide him with the basic necessities of life leaving the responsibility of catering for the whole family and taking care of his (Denis) educational responsibilities to his mum who was a petty trader.

Based on this challenge, young Denis couldn't go far in school as there was no sponsor, so, he opted for learning a trade (electrical installation/wiring) after his secondary education.
His hardworking mum made sure she provided him with all the assistance she could, his dad on the other hand encouraged him to be focused and also prayed continually for his success.
Days turned to weeks, weeks to months, months to years and Denis became a qualified technician in his field of endeavour. His master who loved him very much due to his humility organised a sent forth (otherwise known as freedom) for him.

Denis, during his years of apprentice with his boss had learnt that he needed to have a TRADE TEST if he must advance in his field of endeavour, so, he saved some money and later sit for the exams at the federal level where he obtained his TRADE TEST III, II and I. He had a big dream and was not ashamed to pursue it.

One day, young Engr. Denis heard that a big oil firm was receiving proposals and biddings for a massive electrical installation contract in their firm-this was an opportunity he has been dreaming of. He was so interested but the questions were, who was he, who did he have, how was he going to start, who was there to listen to him, and what was he going to use in executing the said contract even if he was to be able to win the contract...? This were his fears.

Engr. Denis prayed and asked for God's help and favour, he went to his pastor who was a graduate of electrical engineering and had a registered engineering company to ask for his advice and mentorship. The pastor after praying with him encouraged him to go and enquire about the said contract. So, he went, through his friend, he gathered enough information and then reported back to the pastor who helped him write/prepare a proposal and bidding for the contract using his company.

Denis submitted his well written/anointed proposal and a date was set aside by the oil firm for the bidders to come and defend their proposal. Engr. Denis was not an exception as he was one of the bidders. The day came, all the contractors (including young Denis) were present and well seated at the firm's conference room.

He (Engr. Denis) was almost intimidated due to the big faces representing big engineering companies. They came with their luxurious cars and in expensive suits while Denis boarded a public taxi and wore his coverall wear.

A time came for the presentation and every representative were given a fair hearing. Afterwards, the company's representative thanked everyone for their present and informed them that they will hear from them, also assured them that the contract was going to be given to the best hands for execution.
Denis gave the best in his presentation, based on that, he was no doubt the best for the job but he had no money and equipments. To start with, how was he going to execute the contract successfully should it be given to him? This caused a lot of arguments among the management of the firm as some went in support of Engr. Denis while others opposed him.

Denis on his part went back to the pastor (his mentor), updated him and they prayed seriously for his success.

✅REMEMBER: when there is a man to pray, there is always a God who cannot disappoint to answer.

The matter went to the director, he called for the proposals and a video clip of the presentation. Without mincing of words, he really admired young Denis. His appearance, presentation, boldness and simplicity showed that he was exceptionally prepared to execute the contract. This was backed up with the fact that he had the cheapest but very comprehensive proposal/bidding.

"I love this boy's spirit", said the director, "but how do we help him?", he asked.
One of the management staff suggested that they provide Engr. Denis with all he needed to execute the job since he was confirmed to be the best.

This was how Engr. Denis got the contract and in no distance time became a millionaire. That opportunity opened more great doors for him, his mum stopped her petty trading, his dad was flown abroad for his eyes surgery where his sight was restored.

Denis then decided to register for a part-time study in the university and obtained his B.sc.
This is truly the act of God for blessed is the man that puts his trust in the Lord.
DEAR FRIENDS, Little is much when God is in it... Despise not the days of little beginning...
Remember, if any man is diligent in his work or business, he shall stand before great men (kings) and not before useless men.

Denis had no earthly connections, no university education, no class, no money, no equipments, etc. but he had Him who is greater than all these things-he had God, and God proved Himself in his situation.

Today, if you are faced with challenges that seems you cannot come out of, - Remember Denis.

If you know that you can be great but it seems you cannot attain it because of some seemingly unwarranted situations, - Remember Denis
If you are almost intimidated because people around you seems to be superior than you - Remember Denis

Don't look at their big faces because the race is not for the swift and the battle is not for the strong... Let the Lord be anchor and no wind can take you unawares.

If Denis could make it, there is no doubt, you too can stand to your feet and say "no" to your defeat.

Remember, Denis did not allow anything to be an impediment to his success. He lived, hoped, trusted and depended on God.

YOU CAN ALSO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR TIME! - The LORD is your strength... He will carry you through.

THE FUTURE IS NOW!!!
